Okay fellas, I'd like to introduce you to a book I published late last fall called "Fishing the Western Pamlico". Please do not mistake this for solicitation, because all of my share goes to the Pamlico-Tar River Foundation (http://www.ptrf.org). Anyway, when I moved here from the Eastern Shore of Md in the late 80's, I was quite baffled by the fishing on our side of the sound with the highly variable salinity, lack of lunar tides, few well defined channels, etc. After a couple decades of trial and error learning, I decided to put something together to help others along. The book can be ordered form your local Barnes & Noble for $10.95, then pick it up to save shipping. Whether novice or experienced veteran in the region, I hope you enjoy it for a worthy cause.
