The dealer told me that this rubbing on swivel bracket is not a problem. Anyone ever see this on Yamaha f115.

Do you see the paint rubbing off the swivel bracket that goes into transom bracket when you trim motor. Is that okay?

Yes that is ok. It is a raised pad in the casting that is supposed to be there

Ok thanks I have seen the rub marks on some boats but not all.

My 2016 F115 (on Parker 1801) has exact same rubbing. Haven't seen on F-series Yams of other hrsepers, but I don't foresee it becoming an issue. Just a touch sloppier than you expect from Yam.

Had a friend that his motor did the same thing on just one side , not both , which means the motor wasn’t aligned properly , or the motor wasn’t mounted level on the transom causing it to push to one side. Not sure how he got it fixed
