Pedestal seat lactch broken

I bought an '05 2520 SL and the seat latch spring that keeps the seat in your chosen adjustment is broken . Can I bolt on a garlick slide. Can you still get the spring for this seat? If there is something better let me know

when I sent the company this photo I posted they asked me where did I get the photo,WISE told me just this week this picture was sent to them 3 times for the same spring.

I have the same problem but I couldn't get anybody at that number.I did call a Weiss seat company but they did not seem to know what I was after. Also no luck on the Springfield Marine website. Anybody have any part numbers 4 seat or spring? thanks My boat is a 2006.

Unable to find replacement source for spring. 70 cent copper coated acetylene rod from true value and I made my first spring by hand.
