Does anyone have a drawing of a typical planar board, with dimensions, that they could send? I would like to build a set.

The board plans in the attached link are courtesy of Skip Zinc and Capt. Frank Tuma. These are typical of the boards we use on the Chesapeake and these boards will work (one might say that not all boards are created equal). You might consider going with 12" stock.
