Hello all, this offseason I became a proud owner of a lightly used 2005 2520 SL. The boat is ready to splash but one thing is bugging me...I can't seem to get the gold rocket launcher shined up?

Anyone have any ideas?

Once that gold gets bad it will never polish back.Woody wax or fluid film will make them look better but it doesn't last long.

Thanks for the replies guys. May end up just having to live with it.

The gold anodized rocket launchers were popular to some folks years ago.
As stated tho, when the anodizing goes... it's gone.

To fix them.....What I'd do is tape off the other areas heavy with duct tape. Lightly abrasive blast them, then prime and paint them Black.

I have the same problem with my '01 2520. Was thinking of taking them off and having them powder coated. Any opinions?

Mine do the same thing on my 2003 2120! Spray some CRC on a rag and wipe them down!! They look really good for about a month!
