I pulled my prop for the season to do some maintenance and noticed it looks like something is amiss on the outward end of the prop on the OD of the inner hub (see picture). I'm not sure if chunks of rubber deteriorated and fell out or if I'm looking at old hardened grease that I should just clean out. I'm not sure of the exact age, I estimate 15 years. Also, if it is a rubber insert is it replaceable? Any help would be appreciated.

Update ...

I took the prop to a local shop and installed a new rubber bushing for ~ $130. Had blades checked too for proper position, alignment, etc. All is good and a lot less expensive then a new prop.
