Finally got great weather and a three generation crew of my father, myself and my nephew. Left Port Aransas, Texas Saturday 7-17-10 to 1 foot seas and a light wind. Ran 28-30 miles out to 135 feet of water, tied off on a oil rig and proceeded to limit out on Red Snapper. Caught my two fish limit on a single drop to the bottom using a double drop rig with cigar minnows. Showed the other two how to getr done 8)

Tried for Mahi on the way back in but only hardtails under the scattered weed beds then tried for kings the rest of the way back in, no luck. Had a great trip with my dad and nephew. Now we wait til next year for the next season.

Hope everyone else had a great and safe weekend on the water. I'm still wanting to make a trip to the east coast for some Strippers. Ahh, someday we will.
