I have two thru - hole transducers. One is center next to the pump. The other one is mounted about a foot away and it shoots 30 deg to port. That one was installed first using the 4010 garman. The 2nd one that's mounted at the flat spot - next to pump. When they installed my new motor they cut that transducer cable. I ended up sell the furuno. Should I just leave that dead transducer in or pull it and patch the hole? When I cut that hole out, it was close to 6 inchs thick. That's why I didn't mind cutting two holes. I also called Parker and the engineer told me, no problem. Thats the strongest part of the boat. Having that dead one just bugs me. What would you do?

There was two pieces of plywood glue together. When I cut opening to install more rod holders, again there was two plywood glued. They were 11/2 each. I wish I saved that round plug, I could of put it back in.
