I recently upgraded to a rev 4 17p on a 2008 25se. The boat is hard to steer to the left. I know the tab on the lower unit can be adjusted but wont that make it hard to turn at a different trim level?

Yer gotta raise motor...now, with all the bite, motor is too deep. If yer don't raise motor, Rev4 is of little benefit, IMO.

I noticed no longer did I have to trim motor negative to achieve neutral steering....can trim motor middle of guage (motor vertical to water) and have neutral steering.

I don't often agree with FF, but, in this case, he is on the money. That was my personal experience with that prop as well.
