I just installed a screen protector from Nushield on my new Garmin 4208 sine I was already getting spots on my screen after a month. They custom cut it for 17 bucks and it worked like a charm. :p
Going to order one for my Furuno 620.

i tried them on my Iphone. i had a hard time getting used to it so i peeled it off. i am afraid if i try it on my big Garmin and don't like it......peeling it off might mess up the factory coating. i think i am going to leave well enough alone.

I don't know how it came out on your I-Pphone,but it worked great on my 4208,no vision problems at all.

Well I'll let you guys know how it works after some time, but I can only think there would be residue if you tried an pull them off the screen.....but why would you do that? It's like putting another protective lense right over your screen...........
I have an anti-glare screen on my Funruno 620,but it's not as sensitive as my garmin units, they seem to spot up easily.

So far so good. I read those posts over at the other forum and it was not this product. I have no fear about cleaning my screen now.
