Hello all,
I have a 2530 Parker (2006) that I have added a tower to. I am now working on all of the rigging for the tower box.

I would like to have the ability to raise and lower the anchor from the tower as well as in the house. I am not sure how to do this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you VERY much!

I am attaching a few photos so you can see the existing stock Simpson Lawrence connections.

I sure do. :)

1st....I dislike putting that much amperage thru their switches....I have several around here.

Install their relay.

Then install their remote control switch.

This is their relay

This is the box for the remote.

Wart,Thank you for taking the time to respond and to post photos. I am not sure exactly what I am looking at. Mine is a Simpson Lawrence and yours is a Lewmar. I guess it doesn't much matter.
I am confused when you refer to their remote switch. What is it and where do I get it? Will it work for my application?
Again, THANK YOU very much for the help!!!!!!!

Look @ Page 13...... http://www.pyacht.com/SL-Horizon-Free-600-900.pdf

Now Look @ this http://www.lewmar.com/products.asp?id=8836&lid=27469

I wish I could find all the wiring schematics for all of it, but The remote will wire just like the stuff on that page 13. Lewmar is the same as Simpson / Lowarance when it comes to wiring.

Ah......Here it is. :) http://www.lewmar.com/%5Cassets%5Cimg%5 ... agrams.pdf

The very 1st pix on that page is the one that you would use.

Now....Here's the thing.....I bet you don't have the relay / Connector? I've seen that some kits do not have it and are wired like yours. All thru that switch. Note contactor 0052531 -12V in the 1st link. That is what is in my 1st pix above.

I had a guy bring me a windless kit that he got a deal on....It wasn't such a deal after I had to buy the contactor. Any way using the contactor opens up more options and relieves the amps that run thru the switch.

Wart,
THANK YOU!!!
I can see that it's actually pretty simple. All I need to do is to tap into the existing switch. It's really straight forward....
