Curious where you might store an extra anchor and line. They take up lots of space. I don't want to use the fish well in the transom.
Thanks
Jay

My second anchor is a high quality collapsible Fortress aluminum anchor kept in the V-berth. Slides together in seconds, comes in a nice heavy duty red nylon bag and takes up little space. I've only used it a few times but comes in handy. Good luck

I keep my spare anchor in the anchor locker with the rode, but the anchor that I always use is a plow anchor and I only put it on the boat when I am going to use it. I keep it in a round plastic tote that they sell at feed stores and I put it on the bow and strap it down to the rails and cleats. Generally I don’t anchor more than a few times a year for halibut fishing. If camping then I use the one in the boat.
