Hi All, just bought a used 2017 2300DV with a Yamaha 300. Only had 11 hours on the engine. I’m putting new electronics on it and going with Garmin.

Question I have is where to place the thru haul transducer on it. Such as measurements from keel and transom and what is the angel of the bottom of the boat from the keel so that I know what angle of transducer to buy.

I’m installing a Garmin Fantom 18 inch radar dome and also wondered what height I should get for a radar mount.

I called Parker last week and the women that answered the phone would not give me the time of day when I asked her the transducer information nor would she transfer me to someone that could answer my questions.

Thanks for any help I can get.

I'm Guessing......DO NOT Guess! That the deadrise is 21 - 22deg.

Get a angle finder and measure it. Measure the Port and STB add them together and divide by 2.

Why? This will counteract any angle the trailer is sitting at.

Placement depends on a bunch of things....1st WHAT X-ducer are you planning?

A tilted element unit or a Garmin side/ down view X-Ducer?
