transom box

what is the center box in transom on a 2001 w.a. used for? it has drain in bottom. not insulated. the other boxes on either side no drain, all take on water in rain. drain in bottom there because you can't remove and empty? i just use for storage, any other use? can't find description in literature. thanks, just wondering? tinmantoo bel air md. 23wa

Its where I keep my ice slurry to quickly cool down (after bleeding) the tuna before they go into the kill bag.

So far I have only used mine to put my calcutta cooler in for drinks. One day I will probably use it for storing my ballyhoo on offshore trips, If the wind stops blowing I might be able to take a trip.
