Trim Tab Zincs

How Long should the little zincs on the trim tabs last ? I have had my 23se on an off the mooring over the past month, and the zincs are almost gone. Normal ? OEM junk ? Thoughts ?

They typically last a season but if yours are almost gone, you might want to look for stray current in the area.
If you were in a marina, I'd say definitely... but on a mooring? Not as likely, but you never know.

I was just speaking to a guy that deals with motors and he said that every season you should change you Zincs so i guess that is what we need to do!!!Not to bad on price either to but them!!!

I changed them out today, so we shall see ..........

i have a 23 cc and my trim tabs dont have zincs on them should i add some and if so what size?

Try boatzincs.com they have zincs that bolt directly to Bennett tabs using the screws on the actuator. Prices are good too.
