I've got an 08 2120 with Lenco trim tabs. We were out in very cold temps this past saturday. The tabs quit working.

The 'auto retract' is also not working. They do not appear to be getting power. I tried the breaker on the dash. Still nothing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have never heard of tabs freezing up. I have also had the boat in much colder temps than this past Saturday and the have worked fine in the past.

Thanks
Joe

Lenco are fine trim tabs. Have used them for years.. Most likely just a small electrical problem. Time for a little trouble shooting.

Tabs did not work when we bought our boat.

Traced the wiring and there was an inline fuse behind console/dash that was bad. It was mixed in with a bunch of other wires and was not easy to see.

You may want to trace the wires to see if you have the samething. We had our boat out fishing this year when the ice never even melted on it and tabs worked fine so I doubt it is just the cold.

Thanks for your responses.

I hit the breaker on the dash this afternoon and they started working again. (This didn't fix the problem on Saturday).

I will post the cause of the problem as soon as I figure it out.

Joe
