Trip to Calais Maine

I was up in Calais Maine this week visiting my grandmother. I stumbled across this 25 PH on the St. Croix river. The shoreline in the back ground is the Canadian side of the river. Notice the winch for the lobster pots. It was 25 degrees when I took these pictures. The only boat on the river was a Parker!

Just got back from a week on MT Desert Island.
First time in Maine, I'd sell everything I own and move up there in a heartbeat, wife says no dice .......

We missed it (barely) ...We got into town on Sunday afternoon and stayed until Friday. Our friends went and loved it. The fact that I missed it doesn't mean I missed the local brews :lol: We did the brewery tours (3 times) :lol: That is one beautiful area.
