I have seen a couple of bimini's on the back side of the parker pilot house and look great.
What do you guys think, what size where to get it etc?
Do they even make a top for that size beam?
I fish with my 2 small kids and would be nice to get them out of the sun every once in a while.
It would be pretty cool to just store it against the rocket luanchers.

Thanks
Dan

I had this Sun Shade built in New Jersey, PM me if you are interested.

I like the sunshade. To me, the bimini tops such as the options from Parker would just be in the way if you use the boat primarily for fishing.

Just measure from gunnel to gunnel and you can buy one at Overton's pretty cheap compared to custom.

I set mine up so that when not in use it rested on my rocket launcher.

However, in the past 5 years, I barely used it.

I went around and around on this as well. Also liked the idea of some sort of freestanding item but the $$$$ and re-doing the rack had no appeal. Finally went with a Taylor bimine from http://www2.boatersland.com/boatersland ... tandard.pl
Got the widest/longest/tallest and it is perfect. Folds against the rod holder in a boot when not in use and deploys in less than a minute so you will actually use it. Couldn't beat the price either.
