If the bottom ( the keel?) the deep v part, was scaped and the gel coat scaped off will the hull soak up water ?
Will the water drain out if this happens when the boat is pulled? Been loosing sleep thinking about this.

It's in the water. The boat just seems to feel heavy compared to the first week after launch. Speed and rpm's don't match from last year. Thinking maybe rubbed the trailer when launched.

No problem. You are over thinking this if you think it was a rub on the trailer. Bottom is solid fiber glass.

Thanks, there is no water in the bilge. It does seem to be a bit lower in the water. I'll just keep an eye on it for a while. I hope that maybe the fuel tank is almost full. The guage isn't working so I just keep putting fuel in. 150 gal. has a lot of weight. It's just hard to not think about it.
