windlass

want to put windlas on 23 wa 2001. am going to use lenmar free fall. any thing about mounting that i should be concerned about other than following directions? would a call to parker be worth while? it already has a factory pulpit and pulley on it. thanks for any help or advice. tinmantoo bel air md. 2 parker guy

Make sure you position it so the rope and chain will fall into the right spot so they will coil. A wrong position can lead to tangles, and no end of misery.

I'd call Parker and get a template or measurments as to where to position it.

thank you porkchunker, was thinkin about doin that, always a little leary about drillin holes. see you are from solomons. my mother was born there in 1902, have been going there ever since i was born in 37, seen a lot of changes. still have relations there doris and jack johnson, they ran my ( i called my uncle) harry woodburns charter busness after he died, it is called bunkey's now. thanks again. tinman bel air 2 parker guy
