Hey guys having trouble finding an answer to this question without just drilling a hole. I have a 1999 Parker 2501. Below the waterline is there a wood core like there is say on the top of the gunnels?

Parker hull is solid fiberglass, stringers, hull cap and cabin roof have wood.

Only place below the waterline where there is wood is the transom, which is wood cored throughout. The rest of the hull is solid glass.
