My 28 Parker has 4s 225s. The fuel consumption on the guage reads significantly less than the actual use. For example, the guage was reading 130 gallons used and I poured in 160 gallons at the pump. I have this problem consitantly. The boat and engines have only about 300 hours. Has anyone had a similar issue?
Thanks,
Matt

I believe the Fuel Management system has a 25 gallon buffer or reserve. This is why it shows 25-30 gallons off of level. Should be noted in your Yamaha handbook.

You can adjust the flow rate readout in increments via the dip switches on the back of the guage. It's a trial and error type of adjustment.

I don't think it's a reserve issue. It just needs a calibration tweak.
