    Replacement Seat Cushions

I bought 4 sets this Spring for my 2310 from a Parker dealer. I tried to contact the supplier direct but could not get them. They cost $55 per piece (seat & back) and took a couple of months to arrive. Fit perfectly.

    Fast Idle - Problem?

My 2004 Yamaha F225 has started to idle at 1100 rpm when out of gear. Up to now idle out og gear was at 600 rpm. My local mechanic replaced (or added?) a small shim or washer to the throttle linkage based on comments from the factory rep. This worked for a short while but the problem has...

I have a 2310 with the bracket and the Armstrong ladder. I do not use the ladder and will sell mine, used once, for $75. Send me a PM if you are interested.

    well on 23wa.

fenders and a spare anchor and line in mine but have to dry them out often. The drain is forward but the boat is always slightly down by the stern so the locker never completely drains.

    Binoculars ?

Standard for the Navy is (or was) 7x50 binoculars. Anything more powerful than 7 power is almost impossible to keep trained on a target from a moving deck. Anything smaller than 50mm objective lens is too small. I like Steiner Military Marine.

    Help me decide?!?

I have a 2310 walkaround, deep vee with a transom. For me I chose this model because of: Deep vee - better ride in chop Full transom- more storage and less worry about following seas. Walkaround - Better visibility than sport cabin because elevated helm rather than step down. Open to air and...

    Downrigger Question

I have a Canon UniTroll 10HS manual downrigger which I use occasionally for spanish mackeral in the summer and for rockfish in the fall (stripers in Chesapeake Bay lingo). When in use at about 20-30 feeet there is a persistant humming vibration. Not loud but annoying. Is this normal? I was out...

The switch was fine. The actuator was bad and had to be replaced.

    Rinsing off outboard engine

WD 40 is made from Menhaden (bunker) oil. Save the bay and use CRC or silicone.

    23 DV CC Performance

Your hole placement statement is somewhat confusing. "Raise motor at least to 3rd hole, mine is in very bottom set of holes, all the way up." Did you raise the motor and to what hole? Or is the motor all the way down? I have a 2310 which is the same hull as the 23CC but probably a little...

    Cure For Roller Trailers ?

I have owned a number of small outboards and a number of saillboats on trailers. No question in my mind that rollers are the way to go with trailable outboards for all the reasons given by MaxOut. In my area on a low tide with a shallow launching ramp I could not launch and retrieve my 2310 if...

Where can I get spare keys?

I bought a used 2310 a couple of years ago that came without keys. The factory has a list of all key numbers matched to hull numbers and can supply spares. They should be able to help.

Trim Tab Not Working - Need Suggestions

When I launched the boat this past weekend, one of my Lenco trim tabs would not work. There was no motor noise when the port switch was depressed and the starboard tab does not move from the up position. The port tab activates from the starboard switch fine and goes up and down. I suspect...

    Parker 2310 opinons wanted

I have owned a 2310 with a 225 Yamaha 4s for about 2 years on the lower Chesapeake and the boat is almost perfect for my uses. I keep it on a lift but occasionally trailer it. The 8'6" beam allows trailering without special permits. Because of shallow water issues, the 23 is about as long a boat...

    Key West - Christmas Week

Thanks to all who responded. I think the gods have determined that I not tow the boat down so I will be investigating guides and charters. Any suggestions of names of good inshore and offshore guides or charters would be appreciated. Thanks
