Parker 23' and 25' CC person capacities

I think my 2004 23SE says either 10 or 11, believe it or not. I know there was a change in how per-person wieght is to be calculated, and the capacity plates for all boats dropped. I'm pretty sure the new 23SEs list 8.

Water in bilge on new 23SE?

How much water are we talking about here? I have a 23SE that I keep at the dock all season. My bildge is never bone dry - but rarely is there more than 1/4" or so of water in there (substantially less than it would take to trip my bildge pump float switch). If you have more than that, I would...

    23SE Trim Tabs Options

I run that boat with a F225 and stock recessed tabs. It is true that they do a "fine" job - but I would prefer more tab. I posted in an earlier thread on this general topic. If ceblizzard wanted to instal transom mounted tabs (or if I wanted larger ones....), does anyone know whether filling...

Should I really be turning 6000 RPMS?????

As others have said, it really is desireable on that motore (and the F225 and the F150) to turn close to 6000 at WOT, trimmed up with a "customary" (not crazy heavy) load. I posted on the other thread you mention, and I can spin 5600-5800 (5800 veeeery light and trimmed waaaay up). At that...

    23SE Questions

I have a 2004 23SE with an F225, swinging an original SWS (not SWSII) 19 pitch. The boat is bottom painted and wet slipped. My numbers are very, very close to the bulletin on the Yamaha site, even though that boat was tested with a t-top (which I do not have) and was swinging a SWS 17. I will...

    23SE

Full disclosure...I have the 23DVCC. Just got to ride a 23 SE about a month ago. Sorry, but the ride is totally different. It is clear right away that the SE is a lighter boat with all of the good and bad that comes with that. The good is that is does take less HP to get it moving, is nimbler...

Anyone using a Jackplate on 23SE???

Unreel: Let us know if you go forwardwith this project. I run a 23SE, and am intrigued.... Thanks

Trim Tab Question: 24X9 vs 24X12

Guys - resurrecting an old thread here (we have discussed this more recently, but not as directly). I am considering ugrading the size of my tabs (just had a failure, so this would be the time to do it). I have a 23SE with what I believe are 12x12 tabs in recessed pockets. These are the tabs...

    Removing pen marks from vinyl?

If it is ball-point ink, I don't have a good solution. That stuff is really difficult to remove. If felt tip, try rubbing alchohol - you may by surprised. It removes permanent "Sharpy" ink from Parker gel-coat with ease....Never tried it on vinyl.

    23se performance

My GPS (memory) recorded an absolute top speed for my 23SE/F225 as 45.4 mph. I am sure that was very light and trimmed all the way out in flat water. Normally loaded my boat hits 43/44 @ 5800 rpm, WOT (but I very rarely run WOT; and there is a shocking fuel burn penalty to doing so). I can...

    Buy Stromectol

These are both great boats. I own the 23 SE, but certainly would have been happy with the JB. The Parker is a slightly larger boat in every dimension, is a bit heavier and carries more fuel. It has a bit more deadrise as well, but I doubt that is particularly relevant. I like the Parker...

    12x18 Lenco Install on a 2004 23 DVCC

John: Do you have a (new-ish) model 23 SE, with the recessed tab pockets? If so, I presume you installed the new Bennets across the span of the pockets. Any ill-effects? I am considering a tab (size) updgrade, but am concerned about the recessed pockets on my hull. Thanks

    Yamaha F250 premium fuel info

93 should have zero additional performance gain. It would allow (93 octane gas) to be compressed more before pre-detonating or "pinging". Not necessary here because whatever the compression of the F250, it is appropriate for 89 (according to 96TL's conversation with Yami). Like putting 93...
