Marine Ply is not a be all and end all
it is often A/B exterior with LESS VOIDS
A/C exterior is more common than not in modern boat construction
I used MDO G2S plywood for applications where the plywood was more than a core with superior results
It was designed along time ago with a bonding...

Along time ago in a galaxy far far away when dielectric grease was un common we would use anhydrous lanolin if that was not readily available regular grease would do. Any thing to seal it up. I always pot my crimps in silicone caulk
I would always recommend taking your out of date fire extinguisher and having one of the kids discharge it after a discussion of PASS
Have fun at camp on a hot day with water extinguishers and a five gallon bucket with a gallon in it The kids are on each side and compete to see who can move it...
I go 2:1 with a 40 pound anchor that we hand launch. If it is windy and the current is up I will use a sixty but our purpose is to hold station at one end of a starting line. Parkers have a lot of profile up forward and like to move around in the current

Gel cote or bottom paint
if the boat is going to be stored in the water do repairs with epoxy and do not worry about gel cote
Gel Cote does not like being immersed in water
If it is all trailer sailing you can do a gel cote repair but be aware that it will...
I tape a spare fuse on the inline bilge pump fuse. When they pick up junk they will blow the fuse. But clean it out and replace the fuse and back in business
Not a lot of experience with 4200
Huge amount with 5200
4200 may be good enough and possibly a better choice with the shorter cure time
" don't let perfect get in the way of good enough "
