went to remove and replace the button covers today only to find that the start switch was falling apart and needed to be replaced as well........ does anyone know - is the start and stop the same switch? They look like it! I thought I'd ask just to be sure. Just a thought.....I've had my boat...

Just a couple of thoughts......most VHF antennas are a sleeve dipole type......put an ohm meter across the center pin and ground of the antenna.....it should be open, not showing a short. If u read a short it still may not be the antenna......could be just the coax or connectors that's...

Just got the boat in and an obvious project is to replace the start/stop button covers.....2005 2520xl 2nd station w/Yamaha 225 can someone who has done this give me some advice....do these button covers pop off or are they threaded in place on the switch? Are they the Cole Hersee switches...

stopped by the yard today......service tech disconnected (at the engine) the cable from the engine throttle and both binnacle stations operated very very smoothly and stayed were set......operation at both stations was easily done single finger......at the engine, the throttle control also moved...

what should I expect from "Best Cable" ?? my (2005) 2520 and F225 is my only experience with engine control......the biggest complaint I have always had is making small adjustments in engine speed (trolling)......same is true for docking etc.... I always find myself banging the engine speed...
