I have owned my 1998 Parker 2520 DV since November of 1997. I figured it was time to do a bit of updating. This year she was rewired with new boca tech switches, new Simrad electronics, new V berth cushions and new 300 Suzuki. Lastly was the mocha over black Sea Dek.
I know this is a new motor, but has anyone repowered a 25 Pilothouse with one? I currently have a 2520 DV with a 250 Zuke mounted on the transom. (no bracket). Looking for information as to whether this motor is feasible on this boat. I have been told the 350 with the 30 inch shaft weighs in...
I am looking for advice. I need to replace the clutch and throttle cables. I have a 2520 DV dual station with Morse controls. I am not near the boat and not sure of the proper lengths to order. Does anyone know the correct lengths.
Thank you.

Hello all. After 16 years of good service, I decided to give the old girl some TLC. Project number one, was to have the cockpit re-gelcoated and have the hatches removed and resealed. While the hatches were off, I had the edges of the cutouts sealed with epoxy. In addition, my boat had some...
Well, it appears as though winter in finally here. In hopes of making the time pass a little faster, how about we plan our annual night out. If anybody has any suggested dates and/or prefers a new location, let me know.

It is that time of the year again, so I figured I would see if there is any interest in our annual Meet and Great. In the past we have gathered at the Boathouse in Conshohocken, Pa. I am open to all ideas.

On June 27th, I fished a local Flounder Tournament. We did not set the world on fire, but did win first place with the cumulative weight of the three heaviest fish. Our largest fish was caught by Big Dennis and it was 9.38lbs. A 9.41 took single heaviest.
With the weather the way it is and nothing to do, I figured I would try to get some of us together. If anyone is interested let me know. In the past, we have met at the Boathouse in Conshy. Jim, I am sure I can twist your arm!

With a great forecast I decided to give it a go for some Thanksgiving Day Bass with my nine years old son Seth, "Uncle" Earl and Dr. Joe. This was Seth's first go at bass fishing. I was a little concerned that I would not find any fish and that he would not like fishing the ocean. Upon...
For the second year Kevin and MJ were kind enough to have me aboard for the rendevous. Thank you for the hospitality! I would also like to thank all of the other "locals" for making Jim G, Dale and myself feel so welcome. Anyway here are some random photos.
I had the great opportunity to spend the day with Kevin on the Megabyte. I was about to take my shoes off before boarding b/c the boat was so clean. However, when I took a peak into the bilge....well a picture is worth a thousand words. PS. - Note to self buy stock in Clorox as long as Kevin...
My good friend just purchased a 35 Viking that recently underwent a total refit. One minor problem, the boat is in West Palm Beach. So...the two of us decided to take a boat ride. We are flying to Florida early Friday and leaving via Viking early Saturday. Our course is now charted and we...
