I am looking for people that have lowrance units. I would like to hear what's good or bad. I will be shopping for a new multifunction unit with radar and a better sonar unit. I currently use a garmin 545s and I am not impressed with the sonars lack of bottom detail.

I am having a problem with hooking up my radio to my gps. I have a uniden 525 vhf and garmin 545s gps. I,ve attached the white from the radio to the brown gps wire and green from radio to blue from gps. a self test of radio states no gps attached. any help will be appreciated.
