    Tuna/lobster pot hoist

I bought a nice crab pot hoist from Discovery Bay Marine Gear. It is not for my 1801, but is for my house. 3 stories and a hip replacement. With a large muck bucket and a piece of line, it hauls all my groceries up three stories. looks good too>

    thru hull fittings

I have a 2001, 1801 with the flip back seat/livewell combo. I have replaced my thruhulls with gemlux stainless(I have two for bilge pumps), but the live well thru hulls on the transom look different from a regular one. Any ideas or suggestions on replacing them?

1801 live well thru hull- need advice.

Keauhou, I taped and sealed my rub rail and inside deck -hull seam with silicone and it did not affect it at all. If the rub rail leaks aft of the anchor locker bulkhead, it would run down the deck and out the scuppers. The search continues.

1801 live well thru hull- need advice.

Thanks Fishfactory. I think what I am going to do is wait a couple of weeks until I launch it for the season in a nearby lake. Then I can rule out the pump being cracked, and can watch it at speed. If That does not work, I will take it apart, inspect, and reinstall so it wont leak. At least...

First of all, thank you all for replying. I was beginning to think no one was, but knew Classic Parker is better than that. My thru hull has a ball valve made into the casting. It has a flange with three empty bolt holes inside the bilge. The pump mounts on the top of the thru hull. Outside...

    1801 trailer question

Tie down is a brand of brakes. They did not stand up to salt water, even with constant rinsing and attention. The kodiak discs are the cad coated with stainless pistons, and have been great so far.(two years) The weight of my boat suprised me too. When I replace this trailer it will be...

    Long Distance Trailer Tips

After reading Jeffnick's list on hub temps. I have a question. I understand that disc brakes run hotter than drum. What would be a good temp scale for towing with disc brakes. I have Kodiaks on my trailer and sometimes they feel too warm.

Atlantic boats were made in Kinston,nc. i think they went out of business around 2000. I tried to buy an 18 footer with a well and they could not get any more. I stopped by the shop in kinston and the molds were outside in the weather and they looked closed down. I have heard since that...
