    Seating?

Thanks. I've seen some pictures of marine specific folding chairs that I like also. Anyone use the rear bench seat option that Parker has from the factory?

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

Alrightie, I'm sold. And I won't feel guilty about posting what I might think are "stupid" questions here.

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

Ok, that scares me. Maybe the 2120 SC isn't a good "first boat" after all? I've only previously used small skiffs, should I be aiming "lower" to learn more first?

If you don't mind me asking, would you care to post in detail about your experience with Norfolk Marine? Thanks.

I'm a newbie too. It's all here. Just start searching and reading. Just looking around and using the search feature has kept me plenty busy.

    Financing your Parker?

Thanks to everyone who replied. For some reason I didn't receive notifications of posts so I just saw all the replies. Obviously no one can tell me what's best for me, and I'm not asking you to financially plan for me. Just never have financed a boat before so this is a first and I...

    Seating?

    Seating?

I want a Parker. My wife wants a Scout or Sea Hunt because of the family-friendly and comfortable seating. Are there any options out there to keep us both happy?

Sorry to hear this. I saw it on another forum and was hoping it was misinformation.

North Carolina Marine Fisheries/Marine Patrol Parker

Hopefully this will interest someone other than me! First, about the agency (from their website): ". . . the Marine Patrol is to ensure sustainable marine and estuarine fisheries for the benefit of the people of North Carolina. Their jurisdiction includes all coastal waters, extends to 3 miles...

    96' 2520mv?

Gotcha. I think he was a battalion chief in Annapolis in the 70s or 80s. Currently the county fire marshal where I live in NC.

    Financing your Parker?

So 12 years at 7.75% on a roundabout $45,000 boat would be normal or reasonable?

    96' 2520mv?

Do you know Remaley? Wasn't he in Annapolis in the 70s?

    Financing your Parker?

Any general advice from the experienced? The used 2120 SC that I wanted was sold today before I got to the store. I figured it wouldn't last long, as it was priced under $20k! Financing will get me more boat in a shorter time frame. I anticipate being able to put down up to 25% which...

    ny fishing license

I just moved back to North Carolina a few months ago and was shocked to find out that you have to have a license to fish in the ocean. I was disgusted. Not having a license is a misdemeanor. You can beat your wife, drive drunk, smoke dope, snort cocaine...but God help you if you get charged...
