I have a 2003 2120 also, my tow vehicle is a 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with tow package, no problems at all!

Any chance that's a 21 degree hull ?

Mine do the same thing on my 2003 2120! Spray some CRC on a rag and wipe them down!! They look really good for about a month!
