    Yeah, i tilt the motor up - i think you can see it in one of the pics. We release them....there was a couple that we had a difficult time with but they did manage to swim away.

    My son caught his first big bull drum this summer and said he was ready for a fight....sooooo on a nice slick day, we headed to the Atlas tanker for some donkey reefs...lol...he was done after 3...we caught 17 in an hour and half...a good day on the water..

    I'm on my second parker and I love'em dearly but damned that non-skid floor - it holds every bit of dirt, grime, etc. and is a @#$% to keep clean. I'm looking someone in the morehead city area that can put a different floor on it...I've heard there is someone that puts an awlgrip type and it...

    I guess the same reason one would use a rod with the rod crossed....just like yours....to be different.... The upriggers work as a flatline without the use of a clip on the transom hooks or using a downrigger with a weight. So I have a flatline out and then a line like the back rod holder...

    That's the way the dealer set it up and it trailers fine. I keep it at the marina 99% of the time anyway - I only trailer it in case of a hurricane evacuation.

    Look at the deadrise...I had a 21se and quickly traded it in for a 2310...much better ride...not to mention i almost doubled my fuel capacity.

    A little late posting but just found this site...

    Maiden voyage to the Big Rock...a couple donkeys and a couple kings...nothing spectacular but at least she's not a virgin anymore. :D
