    Replacing gas tank

Richmond Steel. Send me a PM and I'll give you info for who to contact. I have a 96 21DV CC and can provide the schematics from Parker, if needed. You can also measure to the stringers from the inspection plates, there should be a large enough gap from the top of the tank to the floor.

I'd scoop up a 23DV if I were you. They don't make them like they used to...

    Replacing gas tank

I'm in central VA and in the process of replacing my 100 gallon tank and a section of the floor. I'll likely have $4k in materials alone invested by the time non-skid is applied. Tank was $14 a gallon built to original specs. Marine ply is $140 a sheet for 3/4" as of a few weeks ago. 1708 is...

    parker off-white deck paint

Not sure what year they switched to the "whiter" white. A comment above suggested 2017 and newer. Oyster white is a good match for my '96. Only way you can tell it's paint and not gelcoat is the higher gloss

    parker off-white deck paint

Awlgrip oyster white. I've used it for several projects and the color is almost an exact match. Alexseal is another good choice that can be touched up.

    Fuel tank replacement?

Appreciate the responses and definitely agree in regard to re-sale value and peace of mind. I was hoping someone had successfully salvaged an old tank by coating and completely sealing it in place. I don't plan to sell in the foreseeable future but, at this point, what's another thousand or...

    Fuel tank replacement?

I have a 1996 21DV that had soft spots under the fish boxes (both sides) and console. Rot under the fish boxes came from poorly sealed cutouts where the drains went through the floor and out the hull. Rot under the console originated from a seam between two pieces of plywood. I figured since the...

    2100 DV Fuel Tank Replacement

Yea that's what it looked like in your picture which is why I was confused. They must've moved the tank forward sometime after '96. Looks like I may have lucked out and can get away with just removing the seats and live-well.. Thanks again!

    2100 DV Fuel Tank Replacement

Good to know it can be done without removing the console; thanks for your response! As for your drawings, if you don't mind posting that would be great. Any additional info would be useful. I emailed Parker with my hull ID and they forwarded the deck and stringer schematics along with tank...

    2100 DV Fuel Tank Replacement

Looks good! Definitely agree with a bigger side door. I have a '96 21DV and plan to replace the tank in the next year or two. No issues so far so I've been putting it off. Looking through your pictures it looks like your tank was mounted more towards the front of the boat? I requested...

    2100 DV Fuel Tank Replacement

I have a '96 dvcc with the original tank. Replacing the tank is the next project on my list but, if you're lucky and the floor doesn't leak, it can last a while.

New Member from VA, 21DV cc

Definitely a pretty area. We rock fish up that way this time of year but spend most of our time around the CBBT and VB oceanfront. I opted for the 21cc over keeping the 2510 for easier trailering and lower operating costs. With the new motor I'm spending more on gas for the truck than the boat.

Hello everyone! I've been a lurker on this forum for the past 6+ years and figured it was time to contribute. I've gained a ton of valuable information from the search bar so thanks to all current members! I was introduced to Parker boats when my dad purchased a second-hand 2510XL. Awesome boat...

    Forward seating/fish box removal?

I have a '96 21DV center console and I'm considering permanent removal of the forward seating/fish boxes. Reasoning is two-fold; first, I'd rather have an open deck layout with a center-mounted cooler that can be easily removed. Less is more, right? Also, it encourages me to reduce weight by...
