1801 steering cable

Hi
I cannot find any markings on my 2003 1801 mechanical steering cable and I want to replace it with hydraulics. Has anyone replaced the cable and what was the length? Taking it out prior to purchase of hydraulic cable is not a good option for me.

The hydraulic lines are usually included in the kit and are generally cut to fit. They have a compression fitting on them.

What kit are you getting?

Only in Baystar an it is junk. Seastar requires prefab cables.. I think it is 20 ft.
