I think you could order these new directly from a Parker Dealership.

Does anyone know how to order one of pictured helm seats with the armrests without going through a Parker Dealership? Who is the OEM manufacturer supplier?

This is what I want to do as well..I felt like when I went to the dealer about the chair they they seemed to not want to be bothered

So it took some time but I just got a quote today from a Parker Dealership over here on the west coast for this Deluxe Helm Chair brand new. They quoted me $1660.55 and that is prior to taxes!!! Does that sound right for the price of this chair? I feel that way too much!

I think you feel correctly.... that would be around $1800.00 with tax.

The dealer is probably marking up their cost 100% like they usually do on such such items and as I mentioned on a previous post on this thread we need to find out who is the manufacturer and order directly from them. I would bet that they do not make this seat exclusive for Parker so we could buy it for a lot less without the Parker lettering across the back. I asked my local Parker dealer a few years ago about a price on this seat but I was unable to get an answer from them after several reminders.

Sure would be nice to find a source for this chair. The one I have from 2006 was holding great, but suddenly a couple of years ago started to look old and by now is just sad.
I got a quote from a local boat upholstery to redo the cushions for $700, I figured that was their way to say " I don't want to do it". To pay that much and still have the bones showing its 16+ years duty, would be ridiculous.
