Hi my drain plug is tight and we PO has been somewhat rounded. I’ve tried a little heat and soaking PB blaster.

I’m just going to replace the entire assembly.

Does anyone know if it’s brass or bronze and size? Would 5200 be a good sealant when installing the new one?

It's bronze (or at least, it should be)

To remove the entire assembly, just remove the 3 screws (should be #8 screws) and you and push it out from the inside of the hull. It might have silicon/4200/5200 holding it in place.

It’s 99 21 se

Which model? Topic has been discussed previously. Use the search and enter plug, drain, etc keywords. I believe it is all fiberglass around it

If the base of the Garboard still looks good and it's just the plug that is rounded and overtightened.....put a pipe wrench on it......put a extension on that if needed....

Get the plug out and replace it......Everyone should have a spare plug on board anyway. Hell they sell them at Walmart in boat/sporting goods section.
