I guess it could be a no-brainer to include an e-box with a new t-top purchase, but I am wondering if anyone thinks it affects line of sight when you are standing while running the boat? I am 6'1". My 21SE has the e-box on top of the console, which is where I have two FFs and VHF. Of course more space never hurts.

Looks like most t-tops are about 80" tall, I figure the bottom of e-box would be ~10" from underside of piping.

Opinions?

Thanks Gentlemen.

never had any line of sight issue w/ the e box on my 23se hard top. if i want to see anything above the horizon more clearly, i typically step to the side of the console anyway as not to look thru the enclosure. (i usually keep the front of the enclosure on year round to block spray). i'm 6'0".

like you said, more space never hurts - especially a "waterproof" space (cell phones etc). keeps things in "their place".

i use a t bag too for life jackets.

A E-Box is the perfect spot for AM/FM radios and VHF radio's.

It puts the VHF speaker closer to your ear.
