My forward live well fills the bilge with water when the tank is full and overflowing. I’m assuming the overflow should be piped overboard however is it piped to the bilge? If yes, then the overflow water is dependent on the automatic bilge pump to pump overboard? Or is there a piping issue? The drain flows overboard when removed and seems to be piped correctly. I’m looking for help before I troubleshoot the problem.

Do you have a drain At the top of the live well or is it not sealed. Are you supposed to have a standpipe for the bottom drain?

Pump may be oversize and drain can't handle the incoming water.....I've seen Prolines not sealed at the Top & sides of the livewell. This put water into the Bilge.....Dangerous situation.....Bilge pump fails and boat sinks. Take a look at that.
