Gravel driveway and jackstands

I am doing some trailer work and just finished my son's rotors and pads. The rotors fit well under the jack stands, so I welded them on there. They add a nice stability without having to chase down a 2*12 or plywood. They slide easier too.
You guys with a big shop and concrete floors, probably no help.

Good re-purposing idea but might i don't think i would like the added weight.
I use old rotors to add weight to the mooring mushroom.

The six tonners are heavy, no doubt. They actually slide around easier in the gravel though, and the weight is oddly comforting when putting the load on them.
