i'm looking at a very well kept, clean, solid 2002 25 se.

has anyone ever seen what looks like a below deck factory built live well in a 2002 25 se? its got a flush hatch door in the floor right behind the leaning post. if you open it up - you see 2' deep of contained clean sea water and 4 old-school manual plugs in the bottom that - if removed - go thru hull to open water. no plumbing except a hose coming into the space from the stern near the top that is not connected to anything. if its an overflow, it'd drain into the bilge.

a fishing buddy called it a "florida well"?? i'm a new englander - never seen anything like it.

make sense to anyone?? i did ask parker today too - waiting to hear back.

any feedback is appreciated!

Well #1 They Suck! #2 "Florida Well"? Never heard that and I've lived in Florida a Loooooog time.

But I've never seen one on a Parker.

It's a trip hazard in the flurry of fast action fishing. You have to bend over. They don't work near as well as a plumbed system.

They have built them on a lot of boats, including Mako's and everyone says they Suck.
