Yesterday I was out in moderate 2 footers and noticed a squeeking noise behind the port side door where the seat is located. I had not noticed it before. Is this a concern?

I could not duplicate at the dock. I pushed on the seat and cabin wall with no squeeking.

Mine is on the port side and sounds like a piece of styrofoam being rubbed against something. Kind of aggravating but if not a sign of big problems I can live with it.

Keep in mind as you troubleshoot the noise that the roof of the PH is balsa cored. Check the roof rod holders and grab rails. Be careful not to over-tighten which will crack the gelcoat or create an indentation. If this turns out to be the issue, I would remove the offending hardware, clean out the holes, and reinstall with some fresh sealant.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check those out.

My 2520 will squeak sometimes when I am trolling. I found it to be the latch that holds the door open.
I just stick something in the hole and then put the latch in it and the noise is gone.
