Parker 2520 Soft Spot Deck Repair

Hey everyone, I have a '03 2520 and started to notice a spot on the deck becoming soft. I believe there was a previous repair because as the non-skid wore down I could see some holes that were filled and there is now a hole worn into the deck. So maybe they used some kind of injecta-deck type material. This section of deck gets a lot of foot traffic as it is a perfect spot to stand while fishing. I've been checing out Youtube videos on how to repair various decks but was wondering if any of you have had to do a smaller section. I've got about a 16"x16" section that needs repair. I'm wondering how to go about the repair. Do I simple cut out the 16x16 section and replace the rotten ply-wood or ? Pics of the area in question and a below deck diagram from Parker. Man, if it were my boat, I would be looking for a company to replace the tank and make that repair at the same time. It's 20 years old, and I would be inclined to get the floor repaired at the same time.
Is the floor coated underneath? IOW is the bottom exposed to water vapor from the bilge?

Yeah, I don't know what that's about.

It says for "single notch only" which makes me believe it's for the boats without a bracket. I guess they use the same hull for bracketed and notched but need to change the center of gravity with the ballast instead of outboard bracket. I'm not certain of this but it makes sense in my mind

The deck has been repaired. It was more extensive than originally thought and we needed a professional to do the repairs. Took about a month to complete. It was basically replacing the back third of the deck all the way under the false transom which needed to be cut out in order to fit the new plywood all the way to the transom. Looks great and we're finally ready to take her out. Shout out for Mark at Monsoon Yacht Service here in San Diego for doing a great job.

Luckily it was in an open area with easy access. This must have saved a lot of money on labor.
