Sea Star-Replacing Cylinder Seals-Front Mount

Looking for info on what to watch for and difficulty of replacing the seals on my Sea Star Hydraulic Steering Cylinder. I have a Yamaha 250 4 stroke. Also should I install the autopilot before replacing the seals or seals before autopilot.

Either way you'll lose fluid, so I'd say both at the 'same' time is ideal. Their kit is expensive due to the cost of the spanner wrench, but check out hydraulic places, as you can get most parts there for a fraction of the cost.
