Have decided on a Lewmar/Delta plow anchor. Went to buy one today to put on my 25' Parker pilothouse . The 14lb maxes at a 30' boat & seems a bit small. The 22 is the next step up & seems big ? What do you guys think ? Thanks !

I have a 13lb Danforth on my pulpit of a 2520 with 15' of chain.

I have a 22lb delta and 50' chain . i know its alittle much but where it hits it sticks . no draging the bottom to get caught under a rock for me.. done that too many times.

I also have a 22lb Delta with 40ft of chain. Works great.

I have a 2520, 25' of chain and fish on the Chesapeake. I bought a 14lb Delta/Plow style and after a few months switched back to my 14lb Danforth. I had a hard time getting the Plow to grab on shell bottom and the Danforth grabbed quicker on all bottoms for me. So now I have a spare anchor on board and thats always good.
