Was wondering if anyone has any experience in raising your engine on either the 2510 or 2520. After repowering with a Honda 250 last Spring my mechanic is now suggesting that we try raising the motor a notch (or even two) to try to gain better fuel efficiency. (I get between 1.7 and 2.0 mpg now, alone with 100 lbs of ice at basic cruise speed of around 22-23 mph.) He mounted the new Honda at the same height as the Yamaha 250 which Parker originally put on--the 2nd set of holes from the top of the motor bracket. Has anyone done this? Thanks!

Ideally on most rigs you should be able to see the anti ventilation plate when running on optimal plane. This reduces excess drag. Looks low.
I raised mine this spring 2 holes. I didn't pick up any top end and it blows out on tight turns a little but it must be more efficient. It's a smoker so every little bit helps.

Bolt goes in 2nd hole ... '95 2530 Med V. Bracketed
