Boat For Sale 2008 2520XL for sale

Selling my 2520XL. Super clean. 2008 Yamaha 4 stroke with less than 600 hours. Over half those hours are less than 1000 RPM due to all the trolling. This is a Mod V hull and there is no trailer. This boat has been lift kept since the day I purchased it. The electronics will need to be...

    Knee pad sourcing question

UPDATE: Just a quick update on how this turned out. I reached out for Mike Sasser from Coastal Canvas as some suggested here and I had another local company (Baltimore/Annapolis) come out and give me an estimate. Coastal Canvas ended up being much more cost effective and his turn around...

Thanks Brent. I've been in touch with Mike and he outlined the options. I should have searched first. Take care!

    Knee pad sourcing question

I have a 2520XL and I'm looking to replace the knee pads around the side of the boat. Any suggestions on good sourcing? They really need to be replaced. Thanks!

    Rain X

I use it on my glass windows all the time and is a standard every time I wash the boat. Never tried it on plastic though.

    Tall Guy Head Height Question

I'm 6'3" and have a 2520XL. I have plenty of head room. Mine is a 2008 so I'm not sure of the head room in newer models. I do remember NOT liking the 2320 when I was looking and that was one of the reasons. Felt cramped. Good luck in your search.

    Wash down

I think you just saved me $35 dollars. I was going to try one of those accordion hoses myself. I guess I'll invest in the rubber coiled type instead. Thanks for sharing!

    Rocket Launcher

Quin, I have the factory (original) on my 2520XL as well. If you pick up the rod rack from Pat, you may want to consider having the outside two holders modified. I took mine to a fabricator and he angled the outside holders on each side to point more outward. This gives me a better line...

    Wipers stuck "up"

2520XL - I put the windows up in the pilot house and then when I put the windows back down the wipers are staying in the up position. Do I need to replace the entire arm or just the spring? Any advice and suggestions are welcomed...especially if there are part numbers that have worked for you...

    Spring Chesapeake Charter Recomendation

Wayne Morgan is a great choice. He runs a "working charter" where he will let you do it all in order to teach you how to fish for trophies. I cannot recommend him high enough. If you want a large boat "north" of the bridge, then I would suggest Capt. George Bentz on the "Drizzle Bar". Just...

    Drawers for a 2520XL

I think I just found my winter project! Very nice job and great idea. As much as I love my 2520, functional storage space is a challenge...

Getting black marks off the deck

I too use the Starbrite non-skid cleaner and haven't had a stain on my deck yet that it wouldn't take off. Anyone have any pics of those Costco rubber mats installed?

    Thinking about a 2120 or 2320 for my 1st

If you can afford the price difference, I would go with the 2320. It is still trailerable, more stable in rougher water, and more room for 4 large guys fishing. I almost bought the 2320 and ended up with the 2520XL. I have not regretted "going bigger". Either way you are getting a great boat...
