The squelch control knob seems to have lost its sensitivty. It is either on or off....when off I get the typical static associated with having it off...when on I can only receive from boata that are close (1/2 mile) to me. There is no middle ground where I can eliminate static and still hear...

I do not think there is any glue that will secure Starboard. When I first started working with the Starboard I was told that it can not be glued. Being somewhat skeptical of this I have tried a number of glues and none have worked. I have since given up and use mechanical fasteners.
Although it may not meet the technical definition of fishing tackle my wife bought me a watch that keeps track of the tides...seems pretty cool - it does air temp and water temp, too. Of course you need to be in the water to get the water temp. Merry Christmas!
