Man that is like a nightmare, hopefully you can wake up from it soon. So is this a one man shop? Owner/operator type set-up? Either way he has got a bad case of over promise under delivering.
Gives new meaning to getting references for me just to hear your fiasco.
I always find myself interested in stuff I can't have!
So why is it the 21 deep-vee center console is offered for a few years and then pulled? It seems like a great addition to the line up, I just don't get it. Does it take away 23DVCC sales?
Anyone have a guess?
Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think it has been discussed on here a couple times about the gel coat cracking slightly where the transom meets the floor. There is inevitably a little flex here simply because there is not a solid structural connection between the transom and the floor...
Wow 4' is really going to limit your choices. I guess it might be possible to modify the console but I am not sure that would be cost effective.
You may have to consider a lower profile bay type hull.
It likely has to do with your high engine height and/or prop model/type. I think if your engine is running high enough out of the water the little torque tab under the cavitation plate may not be enough. It is basically out of the water. I personally have never experienced that though. The tab...
Wow the new pictures are very nice. Exactly what I thought the old site needed.
Interesting changes I have noticed as clicking through, 23DVCC has lost about 300lbs and no more 21DVCC
I agree. It sounds like you have a leak that is letting air into the system. I would check hoses, clamps, and especially around any filters/filter housings. You can even go as far as putting a piece of clear hose inline to test for air bubbles. Good luck!
FWIW the notched transom 23 SE is fairly common to see around with V6 4-strokes. By the way not sure if your looking at a new engine to repower with or not but the offshore series Yamaha V6's 225-250-300hps weigh about the same as a 2S. You might check them out.
No experience with a well that big but a couple suggestions. Give Parker a call and see what they think about that much weight in the 2520. If they give you the go ahead I would, if possible, just filler up and test it out without spending any time and money actually rigging it. At least see if...
I agree totally. Also one of the biggest reasons for poor performance claims by their owners.
In certain applications (heavy boat moderate HP) I would rather be under propped and have to back off full throttle slightly to prevent light load over rev. Usually makes it just right for normal days.
That is great news on the website, it is adequate but lacked photos I had always thought.
Care to share if there are any other significant hull changes or options taking place for 2011? Preferably in the center console line up? Notched 23' DVCC option again maybe :)
Wow I wonder what other model changes are happening for 2011?
I noticed the Parker website still lists "2008 Boat Lineup". Hopefully they'll get a chance to update all the model specs this Fall.
