New to Forum, New Parker Owner.

Just restored my Parker 2110 over last 6 months and so far very happy with the boat, and the overall project (see attached pics).
This is my first open transom boat, so am a bit nervous about the back scuppers letting water in when weighted in the back.

Couple other projects remain....

1 - Looking to add a live-well and wondering what others have done to solve this issue. (suggestions welcomed?)
2 - Also considering re-powering with 225 Yamaha 4 stroke but concerned about adding more weight to back (feedback?)
3 - Hole shot is a bit slow, and usually need tabs to get up; boat likes to ride bow up due to weight distribution. (Current prop 17M)

Two back storage areas under the back seats have the oil tank for the 2 stroke Yamaha 175hp and dual battery in other side.
Fish box between helm seats on floor seems odd location, but it will have to do for what it was intended.

Thank you all in advance for any guidance you can give and look forward to being part of this forum.

Nice looking 2110, we have a '96. Fortunately ours has the factory livewell under the port seat. If you think you might want to try to finagle something there let me know and I can take some pics for you. We do have a 225 ox66, looks like its 50-75 lbs less than a new 225 4-stroke but it does seem fine. I've heard of several ppl running 4 blade props to add some stern lift and I've been kicking around trying one out. Enjoy the boat!

I highly recommend putting a Permatrim on her. I have one and it really helps with stern lift and getting on plane. Hold plane at slower speeds as well. Good luck.

If the boat was not plumbed from the factory for the livewell....Then your pretty much screwed as far as plumbing a existing space.

I like portable units. Needs to be tall to get the drain hose over the side.

Water supply via a livewell pump. I always use the Rule dual port units so 1 hole thru the bottom of the boat can supply the washdown pump also.

Hi,
I've posted this before, but I've changed props and added a permatrim and liked both changes. I think I also still need to go up a mounting hole:

I have a 1997 2110, Yamaha 175 carb Salt Water Series II, one hole showing on top so mounted in 2nd hole.

Old Prop RPM Speed Slip
17M 4000 27
5300 38 17
on plane 4000

New Prop
Q3 15p
RPM Speed Slip
1000 4.4 45
2000 7.7 49
3000 11.8 49
4000 25.1 19
5000 34.8 8
5500 39.0 7
on plane 3400

I would love to get my boat to hold plane at 3400. I have a 25xl with a 250 yammy 4s swinging a 15.5 x 17 mirage 3 blade. Need about 42-4400 to hold now. Just bought the boat and have run her 4 or 5 times now and that is really my only complaint right now.
I have those pockets for the stock 12 x 12 tabs and would like to try something else besides hull surgery.
Anyone have the same boat and engine that have done the permatrim and/or 4 blade? And, how did it do?

Hi,
Here are pictures from last summer. Too deep?
