Finished install on our Parker rod holders on a 2820.these are all aluminum,tig welded and media blasted with power coated primer and finish.Also has HDPE center and stainless cup holders with drains.We can also build to your design.

Looks great. I sort of agree. I was going to get a set made that was basically exactly what you have, with the rod holders turned to the inside of the rail, with the rail having a flatter profile. In other words, the rail would go OUTSIDE the rod holders. The reels would sit closer to to rail and when you had no rods in there, your thighs would slide along without banging. It always seems to happen in rough water with all your body weight behind it.

Yep..... Reminds me of a Receiver Ball mount sticking out on a Pickup truck.... Also restricted access to Fish box if full of rods. It's some pretty work... Just not a well thought out execution.
Well warthog in my opinion those fish boxes were never thought out well and we don't use them I don't know if you've ever tried to put a 40 lb yellowfin in one of those fish boxes but they don't work very well so to me that space was dead anyway
